I'm originally from Poulsbo, Washington, USA, a town of about 6,000 on
the west side of Puget Sound. I have spent most of my life there,
until 1988, when I ventured out to Michigan to attend GMI
Engineering & Management Institute in Flint. There, I was
an active member of the Eta Mu chapter of Sigma
Nu Fraternity, located in Flushing. I graduated in 1993 with
a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, which has brought me into
some very interesting career opportunities.
I currently work for Delphi
Automotive Systems, formerly Delco Electronics, at their Engine Management
Systems site at the Brighton Technical Center (near General Motors Proving
Ground in Milford, Michigan). The main objective of this group is
to develop engine control systems for worldwide automotive manufacturers
to help keep them competitive with the ever-increasing need to produce
fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly automobiles and light trucks.
I am also an independent consultant with Innovative
Environmental, a group which I started in Poulsbo, Washington in 1994
to help bring the products of environmentally-conscious manufacturers to
commerical and household consumers. We currently operate all over
the United States, with office locations in Michigan and Washington State.
Our focus has changed in the last year to include business consulting and
web development.
I am certainly happy with how my career is progressing,
but I always keep my options open (who wouldn't?). My resume
has specific references to my engineering experience.
